AI Technology

Claude can suggest next steps, process work initiated inside Navatar, and return results to the environment where your team manages deals and relationships.

Connecting Claude to CRM data is a useful starting point. But it leaves an important question: how does AI become part of the work professionals are already doing?

A connection can help someone retrieve information or update a record from Claude. The next step is to make Claude available within the deal process itself—helping professionals consider what to do next and process the work they initiate.

That is the focus of Navatar’s new Claude-enabled capabilities.

Within Navatar, Claude can recommend actions for users to consider. Actions users initiate can also be routed through the Claude large language model, with results returned directly to Navatar.

This is more than access to an AI conversation. It connects recommendations, processing, and returned results with the environment where private equity and M&A teams manage their work.

More Than a Claude Chat Window Inside CRM

There is a difference between placing an AI interface inside a product and making AI part of the product’s action flow.

An embedded conversation gives users somewhere to ask questions. Navatar’s capabilities go further: Claude can suggest actions within Navatar and process work initiated there.

The distinction matters because professionals should not have to translate every AI interaction into a separate set of operating steps.

They can start in Navatar, consider a recommendation, initiate work, and receive the results back in Navatar.

The user remains responsible for deciding how to proceed. A suggestion is not a decision, and a returned result does not necessarily become an automatic CRM update.

Two Ways to Begin: Claude or Navatar

Navatar’s previously announced bidirectional Salesforce MCP connectivity supports work that begins in Claude. Professionals can retrieve Navatar information, develop their research, and bring selected outcomes back into supported CRM records.

The new capabilities also support the reverse starting point.

Start in Claude Start in Navatar
Retrieve relevant Navatar context. Work within the deal and relationship environment.
Develop research or pipeline work. Consider Claude-generated action suggestions.
Bring selected findings and supported actions back into Navatar. Route initiated work through Claude and receive the results in Navatar.

The objective is not to make everyone choose one interface. It is to keep relevant work connected whichever starting point they prefer.

Recommendations Should Lead Somewhere

AI-generated advice is useful only to the extent that professionals can evaluate it and act appropriately.

A recommendation that remains in a separate conversation creates another handoff: someone must interpret it, decide what to do, and recreate the work elsewhere.

Navatar brings those steps closer together. Claude can suggest actions inside the product, while users can initiate work that is processed through Claude and returned to Navatar.

That does not eliminate judgment. It places AI assistance closer to the point where judgment is exercised.

Make the Work Visible to Colleagues

The benefit should not stop with the person using Claude.

Navatar also makes supported related activity from Claude and Outlook visible against the relevant deal or relationship. Authorized colleagues can follow the work without inspecting individual fields to discover what changed.

This helps teams understand developments, build on completed work, and coordinate follow-up with less reconstruction. For partners, it means a clearer view of the team’s activity—not merely a collection of updated values.

Use Broader Information Without Accepting Every Change

Navatar extends its Salesforce MCP connectivity to information stored in supported documents, broadening the context available beyond structured CRM fields.

Professionals can also verify information, select relevant content, and apply it to appropriate fields.

These are complementary capabilities. Broader access helps inform the work; selective application helps determine what should become part of the shared record.

A useful AI response need not be accepted in full to be valuable.

What This Means for Existing Navatar Clients

If your firm already connects Claude to Navatar through Salesforce MCP, the connection alone does not establish that you have the newer Navatar experience.

The new release adds capabilities around recommendations within Navatar, processing work initiated in the product, and visibility into related team activity.

Supported recommendations, actions, document sources, and visibility depend on your version, configuration, integrations, and permissions. Not every action is automatically routed through Claude, and not every returned result is automatically applied.

Put AI Into the Work—not Beside It

The next step is not simply giving professionals another place to ask questions.

It is helping them consider what comes next, process the work they initiate, and keep the results connected with the deal and the team.
